Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach has admitted he would love to play in the Premier League - but believes he can reach the top flight with his current club.
Loach has been linked with a move away from Vicarage Road in the January transfer window following a fine season as Malky Mackay's first-choice keeper.
The England Under 21 international has reportedly attracted the interest of Tottenham and Arsenal, and said he is happy to stay with the Championship outfit, despite the temptation of a switch playing on his mind.
"I'm here at Watford and that's the main thing," said Loach. "If I see myself in the newspaper it does bring a smile to my face because the Premier League is where I want to be, but at the end of the day I've got a good thing going on here."
The Hornets held high-flyers Nottingham Forest to a 0-0 draw at the weekend, although they were indebted to Loach's superb one-handed save in the closing stages from a Dexter Blackstock header.
And Loach believes he can achieve his Premier League goal with Mackay's side if they string some results together that would propel them back into play-off contention.
"We keep surprising people," he said. "I think another couple of wins will see us back in the play-offs, so there's no reason why I can't be in the Premier League with Watford.
"It's an honour to be linked with those clubs and if something was to happen then brilliant, but it's also brilliant to stay here because we have a great young team and management staff."
