New Watford deal for Almen Abdi

Almen Abdi has committed his future to Watford by signing a new three-year contract.

The Swiss international midfielder has played 92 times for the club since his arrival from Udinese in 2012, scoring 23 goals and collected the player of the year trophy at the end of his first season.

Abdi began his career at FC Zurich before moving to Le Mans in 2009. he spent two seasons with Udinese - featuring in the Champions League and the Europa League during that time - before heading to Hertfordshire.
