Fulham are moving closer to signing Austrian defender Michael Madl from Sturm Graz.
The 27-year-old centre-back is travelling to London on Monday to undergo a medical.
Sturm Graz general manager Gerhard Goldbrich said on his club's official website: "We have agreed a good overall deal with the English side Fulham and tomorrow [Tuesday] we'll have the final conversations."
Madl, who had captained the Austrian side, said: "I had three wonderful years at Sturm Graz, but now the time has come to take the chance to play in England.
"I want to thank the club for allowing me to take that opportunity, so I can fulfill this dream of mine."
Madl is a former Austria U21 defender who joined Sturm Graz in 2012 and has made over 100 league appearances for the club.
Fulham are under a transfer embargo and, aside from loan deals, they must move one player out in order to bring in another.
