Huddersfield have extended James Husband's loan from Middlesbrough.

The left-back will now stay with the Terriers until April 9 as they aim to avoid getting sucked in to a relegation battle in the Sky Bet Championship.

The 22 year-old has made two starts and one substitute appearance for Town since arriving in January with the club 17th in the table, seven points above the bottom three.

Head coach David Wagner told the club's official site: "What we have seen from James so far has been good and we need a second left-back, as Jason Davidson is the only specialist in our squad.

"James has settled well and fits well into the group. His attributes fit our style and we are happy that he will remain with us."
