Scunthorpe have signed Hull striker Greg Luer on loan for an initial month.

Luer, who has scored two goals in six appearances for Hull this season, will go straight into the Iron's squad for Saturday's home game against Southend.

The 21-year-old was signed by Hull from Isthmian League side Burgess Hill in January 2015 and spent the end of last season on loan at Port Vale, for whom he made two substitute appearances.

"I am looking forward to it," Luer told Hull's official website.

"I need to get some games, especially league games, and hopefully I can go to Scunthorpe and do that and score some goals to show the manager what I can do.

"Hopefully I'll get my chance and I feel a lot more confident going out on loan this year than I did last year.
