Owen Coyle has made winger Liam Feeney his fourth summer signing at Blackburn.

The 29-year-old, who had a loan spell at Rovers during the 2013/14 campaign, returns to the club on a two-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months, after leaving Bolton.

Feeney follows Anthony Stokes, Danny Graham and Stephen Hendrie through the door at Ewood Park since Coyle was appointed as manager earlier this month.

London-born Feeney started out in non-league football with Hayes and Salisbury City before joining Bournemouth, for whom he made over 100 appearances. A spell with Millwall followed, during which he played six games on loan at Blackburn from March to May 2014.

Feeney joined Bolton in July 2014 and scored eight times in 88 appearances over two seasons, during which he also had a loan spell with Ipswich, but he has now departed Wanderers following their relegation from the Championship and is pleased to be back with Blackburn.

He told his new club's official website: "I feel good about it. I was here before on loan for a short spell, so it is good to finally be back permanently and I think it is going to be an exciting season for the club.

"Obviously I'd been here before and I knew about the stature of the club, the stadium, the training facilities and the fans' support.

"Speaking to the manager and how positive he was, I thought nothing but good things about it, so it is an exciting time and something that I can be a part of.

"The way he spoke to me filled me with a lot of confidence and he outlined what he wants to do, so it should be really good. I'm just glad I can be a part of that and hopefully we can have a successful season."
