Gianfranco Zola still has the full backing of the Birmingham City board despite his record of just one win in his 14 games in charge, Sky sources understand.
Birmingham's new Chinese owner Paul Suen appointed Zola in December after the shock sacking of Gary Rowett.
Despite Saturday's 4-1 home defeat to QPR raising more question marks about Zola's future, it is understood Birmingham's bosses feel there were mitigating circumstances in that defeat, with six Blues players absent through injury or suspension.
After the heavy defeat Zola admitted he "needed a chat with the owners" having collected just six points from a possible 36 in the Sky Bet Championship.
However, Sky Sports News HQ was told on Monday morning there are no emergency talks planned, and Zola's future is not an issue Suen wants to discuss.
Birmingham have dropped from the verge of the play-off places to 14th in the league while Zola has been in charge.
The club's next fixture will see them take on Wolves in a West Midlands derby, live on Sky Sports 1 HD on Friday night.
