Vincent Tan says he will consider an offer for Cardiff City but only for the right price and if the buyer can prove he can take the club forward.
Tan issued a statement on Wednesday morning in reaction to stories, including one from Bloomberg, that he was looking to sell all of his football interests.
The Malaysian businessman also owns Los Angeles FC from the MLS as well as Bosnia's FC Sarajevo and Belgian side FC Kortrijk.
Bloomberg's article included a quote from Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman which said "we would entertain an offer but we're in no rush to sell, nor do we need to sell".
In the statement, Tan confirmed that was the case but would apply to all of his businesses as long as the right price is offered.
He said: "For the record I have no plans to sell any of the clubs but if I am offered the right price I will certainly consider it.
"I have been approached on numerous occasions by parties wanting to buy Cardiff but the prices offered have not been right. Cardiff have gone through a rough patch as a result of the actions of a previous manager which are now the subject matter of several legal suits initiated by Cardiff.
"However Cardiff are turning around now in the good hands of Neil Warnock, who I think is a great manager and I believe [the club] stands a good chance of being promoted again to the Premier League next season.
"I am in no rush to sell Cardiff but if I am offered the right price by the right person who I believe will be able to take the club to a higher level, I will certainly consider selling. I have said before that if I leave Carfiff I want to leave it in good hands."
