Fulham moved up to fourth in the table after extending their unbeaten run to 13 league games (W10, D3), only Rotherham are currently on a longer unbeaten run in the top four divisions - a run of 14 games.

Patrick Bamford scored his first career hat-trick and in doing so became only the fourth player to score a league hat-trick for Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium, after Fabrizio Ravanelli, Marco Branca and Afonso Alves. This was Boro's 468th league game at the ground. Prior to Friday, Alves was the last home league hat-trick scorer for Boro, in the 8-1 Premier League win over Manchester City in May 2008.
This was the first time since 1980 that Boro had won successive home League games versus Leeds.

Bobby Reid scored his first career hat-trick to give Bristol City their biggest league win for a year. Reid has 19 goals in all competitions this season with 17 coming in the Championship. He is the joint-top scorer in the Championship with Derby's Matej Vydra.
This was only Bristol City's second win in their last 11 Championship games, while Sheffield Wednesday have now lost their last three Championship games, conceding 10 goals.
Ellis Harrison scored his 13th goal of the season and his fourth in his last six appearances to hand Bristol Rovers their first ever win at the Stadium MK. Bristol Rovers have now won three of their last four away league games, they had won only three of their previous 19 away games in League One.
MK Dons have failed to win any of their last 10 league games and have won only one of their last 18. Of the top four divisions, only Grimsby have taken fewer points and scored fewer goals than MK Dons in 2018.
