Brentford have completed the signing of Ipswich midfielder Sammy Moore.
Brentford have completed the signing of Ipswich's Sammy Moore.
The midfielder will serve an initial one-month loan period at Brentford after Ipswich manager Jim Magilton said that he was keen for the club's younger players to leave on loan to gain first-team experience.
Brentford manager Terry Butcher has had a busy summer in the transfer market as he looks to make his impression on the Bees squad after taking over at Griffin Park at the end of last season.
Moore, a former Chelsea youth player, will be Butcher's eighth signing of the close season following the recent acquisition of the likes of Alan Connell and Craig Pead.
The 19-year-old is expected to be in the Brentford squad to face Reading on Wednesday night.
