Iain Dowie has dismissed speculation he is keen on signing Marvin Elliott and Lewis Neal.
Coventry boss Iain Dowie has dismissed speculation that the club are interested in signing Marvin Elliott and Lewis Neal.
While Dowie is keen to bring in fresh faces neither of the midfielders are on his wish-list.
Dowie is also frustrated by the speed at which the current takeover is taking place.
"To be fair, I know Marvin and that has probably come from a story linking him to Charlton at one point, and although I have nothing against Lewis Neal, I have no interest, so those stories are not quite near the mark," Dowie told the Coventry Evening Telegraph.
"The takeover seems to be moving forward but surely it is disappointing not be able to do it now."
The Sky Blues manager revealed that he is determined to continue his search for new talent.
He said: "We are pushing and there are a lot of calls going in to a lot of Premiership clubs, but at the moment I wouldn't say we are close to doing something."
