New West Brom midfielder James Morrison has suggested that his side need to toughen up in order to pick up enough points away from home.
The Baggies have struggled on the road so far this term, losing both of their league games played away from The Hawthorns.
And the ex-Middlesbrough man recognises the need to add an edge to their game in order to mount a serious promotion push this season.
"The manager always wants to play attractive football and he's been looking for players who can play in that sort of side. He's got some great technical players here," said the 21-year-old.
"We need to be able to do the dirty work first and then play, especially away from home because at The Hawthorns we play lovely football."
Morrison told the Birmingham Mail he wants to improve himself physically and that Albion manager Tony Mowbray is also keen to install the physical aspect to his team's game.
"The manager has talked to me about it and I realise that's something I have to do," Morrison said. "I thought I did it quite well on Saturday, although I got a few kicks as well.
"But that's all part and parcel of the game and I quite enjoyed it. Hopefully I can still improve on that side of the game and push on."
