Czech goalkeeper Michal Danek has joined Championship pace-setters West Brom on a four-day trial.
The 24-year-old currently plays for Czech club Viktoria Plzen but left on Tuesday for his trial.
The club's general director Zdenek Korinek confirmed they have not received an offer from the Baggies, whose boss Tony Mowbray is looking to bolster his squad as they push to return to the Premier League.
Korinek told MF DNES: "Coach Levy agreed that we will release Danek for four days. He will definitely not be idling there as he is to join the full training.
"At the moment though, it does not mean that he will move there. The talks will go on."
Danek himself is relishing his possible move, although he is keeping his feet on the ground.
He said: "This is a big chance for me. A chance that might not come twice. It is question though if all sides come to an agreement - both the clubs, the agent and me."
