Alan Sheehan has joined Leeds United on loan for the remainder of the season.
With Ben Parker Leeds' only recognised left-side full-back, new manager Gary McAllister has moved quickly to bolster his options.
The 21-year-old had been a regular for The Foxes this season, making 24 appearances for the Championship outfit.
"I've seen Alan play quite a few times," McAllister told the club's official website.
"We have Ben Parker at left-back, but this will give us more competition in a vital area."
Sheehan becomes Leeds' third deal of transfer deadline day while Stockport's Anthony Elding is expected to join before the window closes.
