Palace boss believes defender will assess other options

Neil Warnock is expecting Crystal Palace defender Mark Hudson to turn down the offer of a new contract. Hudson, who has spent four years at Selhurst Park after joining from Fulham, is out of contract at the end of the season. Talks have been held regarding fresh terms and the 26-year-old claimed in January that he would be keen to stay with Palace. But Eagles boss Warnock believes Hudson will reject the club's current offer in order to assess any interest from other teams. Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser: "I think Mark is going to turn down the offer of a contract and weigh up his options at the end of the season. "He is quite entitled to do that."
