Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish is keeping an open mind about Franck Queudrue's future at St Andrews.
Queudrue was a £2million signing from Fulham last summer, but was criticised by Blues co-owner David Sullivan at the end of the season.
Sullivan had admitted he was disappointed by the defender's contribution as Birmingham were relegated from the Premier League.
Though clear-the-air talks were held to resolve the issue, Queudrue's future at Birmingham remains in doubt.
He featured just three times for Blues after McLeish brought David Murphy to the club during the January transfer window.
Best man for the job
McLeish admits that he has not made a decision to move Queudrue on in the summer and could use the Frenchman in Birmingham's bid for an immediate return to the top flight.
"We have to carry on in that vein until something else happens," McLeish told Sky Sports News.
"Franck is still a Birmingham player and I will never cut my nose off to spite my face.
"If Franck is available to me, I will consider if he is the best man for the job."
