David Jones is confident he will be suited by his move to Wolves after clinching a £1million switch from Derby County.
The midfielder has signed a three-year contract at Molineux, having also been given the option to stay at Pride Park by Rams boss Paul Jewell.
Jones is looking forward to a new challenge and the former Manchester United youngster has sensed a strong team spirit at Wolves.
"I could have stayed at Derby - the manager gave me the option," Jones told the club's official website. "He spoke with me at the end of last season, but I felt this was just a really attractive offer from Wolves.
"It's always been a club I've admired because there's a great history here and I know the fans appreciate good football.
"It runs right through too because all the staff are geared into the tradition of it being a real football club and that suits me.
"All the facilities, the staff, the stadium, the owner, the chief executive and manager - they're all top people.
"I haven't really felt the same sort of team bond since I was in a youth team, when it just feels like you are playing with your mates and those sorts of things.
"I can already see there's a great team spirit and I'm looking forward to being part of that. Hopefully we can take that team spirit onto the pitch and show it in our performances."
