Coventry City new boy Clinton Morrison admits he could have joined Championship rivals Wolves.
Morrison signed a two-year contract with Coventry earlier this month after leaving Crystal Palace.
He had been training with the Sky Blues during pre-season, but had also been wanted by Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.
The striker played under McCarthy for the Republic of Ireland, but admits he was impressed by Coventry manager Chris Coleman's sales pitch.
"Wolves were interested, but after meeting Chris Coleman my head wasn't going to be turned anywhere else," Morrison told the Sunday Mercury.
"I could have gone to Wolves, but after speaking to Chris I fancied going to Coventry.
"I thought that Coventry had the ability to go on and do some good things, that was my mind made up basically.
"Mick McCarthy is a very good manager, and I'm not going to lie, it was a difficult decision. I just want to play, but I didn't know if I would every week at Wolves.
"I've got a chance to play most weeks at Coventry and I just want to do well."
