Full-back vows to come back stronger
Wolves defender George Elokobi has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury.
Elokobi suffered the problem against Ipswich Town last month and will undergo an operation next week after damaging multiple ligaments in his knee.
The promising full-back is hugely disappointed to be missing the campaign, but has vowed to come back stronger next term.
"I've been told next pre-season is the best I can hope for, but it's a really serious injury so I know I should take my time," Elokobi told the club's official website.
Massive disappointment
"It's a massive disappointment to myself and the club, but it happens in football.
"I'm lucky enough to have the people around me from the chairman to the fans - everyone is behind me to get back fit again.
"As a player I'm a very strong character and I've got a picture in my mind of how I'm going to battle this.
"I'm definitely going to come back stronger - I haven't been told that, but as a player that's my belief.
"I have to believe I'll come back a better player than I was before I got injured."
