Peterborough defender facing three months out

Peterborough defender Shane Blackett is facing up to three months on the sidelines after suffering a dislocated shoulder. Blackett sustained the injury at the club's training ground on Tuesday and the club's official website has confirmed he could now be out of action for an extended spell. The centre-back underwent an X-ray at hospital which confirmed the extent of the damage. It is the latest injury blow to hit Posh boss Darren Ferguson, with key striker Aaron McLean already on the sidelines for around six weeks with a dislocated elbow.
