Norwich defender Gary Doherty has won his appeal against the sending off he picked up in last weekend's defeat to Bristol City.
The former Tottenham man was red-carded for a challenge on Bristol City striker Dele Adebola which also gave the visitors a penalty.
Doherty was facing a two-match ban, but the FA has decided to rescind the red card and he will be available for this weekend's clash with Preston.
Norwich boss Bryan Gunn was delighted the FA decided to overturn the decision.
"This shows the appeal system works. I wasn't convinced it was a sending off, Gary played the ball but from the referee's positioning it was a sending off and a penalty-kick," Gunn told the club's official website.
"They've had a chance to look at it again and it's fallen in our favour.
"It won't bring us points but we will have an influential figure available for the next game and we're delighted about that. I want to thank the FA committee for making the time to look at it."
