Plymouth Argyle striker Roudolphe Douala has signed a deal to keep him at the club for the rest of the season, subject to international clearance.
The Cameroon international has impressed Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock during his trial and will provide the Championship outfit with extra attacking options for the remainder of the campaign.
Douala, who had a spell on loan at Premier League Portsmouth, was more than happy to end his contract with Greek club Asteras Tripolis in search for first-team football.
"My agent arranged for me to come here because I needed to play," Douala told Plymouth's official website.
"I resigned my contract in Greece and I wanted to come back to England. Plymouth is a good team and the manager wanted me here."
And Sturrock, whose side lost to away to Burnley on Saturday, is delighted to have the 30-year-old, he added: "He is quick, very positive and direct."
