Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws has praised goalkeeper Lee Grant for the sterling performances he has put in between the posts this season.
The Owls have struggled with a string of injuries to key performers this term, but one player who has been a model of consistency is the former Derby County keeper.
The one-time England U21 international has even been linked with a potential call-up to the senior England squad and Laws believes Grant has been one of the highlights of their season.
"Lee has had an exceptionally good season, there is no doubt about that, and he is improving all the time, getting better and better," he told skysports.com.
"We feel there are still his best years to come as well, so we are delighted to have him and how far he goes in the game remains to be seen, but his performances have been a huge highlight of our season."
One player who seems to be out of favour at Hillsborough is winger Wade Small, who has joined Blackpool on loan until the end of the season.
Laws, though, has explained that the move to Bloomfield Road does not necessarily signal the end of Small's Owls career, despite the former MK Dons midfielder's contract set to expire at the end of the season.
"It is early days yet, but what is important for Wade is to get some games under his belt at Blackpool because he hasn't had many games here of late and we will take it from there."
