Eagles ace rewarded for impressive debut season with new deal

Crystal Palace youngster Nathaniel Clyne has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club for another three years. The 18-year-old is another in a long line of players at Selhurst Park to progress from the club's sought-after youth system into the first team. The defender made his debut in the 3-0 home win over Barnsley in October and has not looked back since, making 29 appearances in total this term. The attack-minded full-back has impressed everyone at the club with his assured displays this season and manager Neil Warnock feels his new contract is reward for his good form. "Clyne deserves his new contract," the Eagles boss said. "He is by no means one of the club's top earners but it puts him up to where it should be after his performances this season."
