Norwich City have confirmed the departure of Lee Croft after the winger's contract was cancelled early by mutual consent.
Croft's deal at Carrow Road was due to expire at the end of June, but he is now free to finalise a move to another club.
The 23-year-old made over 130 appearances for the Canaries in three years at the club and was named Player of the Season as Norwich were relegated from the Championship.
"Lee's made it clear he feels his future lies elsewhere, so this gives him the chance to explore other opportunities," Norwich boss Bryan Gunn told the club's official website.
"We wish him all the best for the future."
The former Manchester City youngster has attracted interest from several clubs in the Premier League and Championship, with Crystal Palace linked with a bid.
However, skysports.com understands that Croft has agreed a deal to join Derby County and will shortly finalise his move to Pride Park.
