Imps and Glovers want transfer-listed Howe

Lincoln City and Yeovil Town are waiting for Peterborough United striker Rene Howe to make a decision on his future. Howe is on the transfer list at Peterborough after struggling to make an impact since joining the club from Kettering in 2007. He impressed on loan at Morecambe last season and Lincoln boss Peter Jackson is keen to bring the forward back to League Two level. "I've spoken with him and we've made contact with his agent and the club," said Jackson. "We're still waiting for a final decision on it. If the decision's no, we're still looking about for strikers who will lead the line." Jackson is facing competition from Yeovil after his League One counterpart Terry Skiverton confirmed his interest in signing Howe. Skiverton said: "He's come up the right way, the non-league way. "It's only interest, there's nothing set in stone."
