Bhoys boss says he has not discussed move for Rams midfielder

Celtic manager Tony Mowbray has dismissed claims he has made a bid for Derby County midfielder Kris Commons. Scotland international Commons has been linked with a £3.5million move to Parkhead following his impressive debut season at Pride Park. Derby have confirmed there has been interest in the former Nottingham Forest ace, but say no firm offers have been received. Commons is also ignoring the speculation about his future, with Mowbray playing down suggestions he wants to sign the 25-year-old. "I saw that running ther other day and I'm not sure where that has come from," said Mowbray. "He's not a player we have discussed. "It's the power of TV. The whole world believes something if they see it running across their screens. "If I was a supporter, I would probably have believed it also."
