Doncaster also looking at Oster

Quinton Fortune has been given the opportunity to try and impress Doncaster, who are also looking at John Oster. Former Manchester United midfielder Fortune is currently a free agent after being released by Belgian outfit Tubize at the end of last season. He played for Doncaster in last week's behind-closed-doors practice game against Chesterfield and could also feature against Rotherham on Saturday. Oster has also linked up with Rovers for training following his departure from Crystal Palace and assistant boss Richard O'Kelly has been impressed by the attitude of both players. "The pair of them have been showing everything that you would expect from players of their experience," O'Kelly told The Star. "Quinton has been there, seen it and done it all. Everyone you speak to about him say he's the kind of player that you'd want around the place even if he wasn't playing because of the impact that he has on other players. "There is nothing concrete for him here at the moment. But, as I say, he's come in and trained with us and he's certainly having a little bit of an impact."
