Derby defender Jay McEveley and midfielder Gary Teale are to open talks with the Rams over new deals.
Both players arrived at Pride Park in £600,000 deals in January 2007 - McEveley from Blackburn and Teale from Wigan - and are set to be out of contract in the summer.
"We will be speaking to the representatives of both players in the next few days," Rams boss Nigel Clough told the Derby Telegraph.
Midfielder Stephen Pearson signed a new deal last week to keep him at the club until 2012.
