Winger delighted to make return from injury

Queens Park Rangers winger Lee Cook is hoping to make his first start of the season against Peterborough United on Saturday. Cook underwent knee surgery last summer and made his first appearance since returning to fitness as a late substitute in last weekend's home defeat by Scunthorpe United. The 27-year-old was delighted to be back in first-team action for QPR and is now targeting a starting spot against Championship strugglers Peterborough. He told the club's official website: "I felt fit, sharp and comfortable on the ball. "I'm keen to start matches as soon as possible, but ultimately that decision rests with Mick (Harford) and the medical department. "However, I feel as though I'm ready, so we'll just have to wait and see."
