Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine has confirmed that winger Jermaine Johnson will be out for two weeks with a hamstring injury.
The Jamaica international suffered the grade one tear in Tuesday's 2-2 draw against Preston at Deepdale.
Although Irvine is pleased the injury is not too serious, he has revealed it could keep him sidelined for anything up to two weeks.
"The scans confirmed that Jermaine had sustained a grade one tear of the hamstring and we have been advised that he is likely to be out for ten to 14 days," he told the club's official website.
"However, this is the same diagnosis that we received on Darren Purse's recent hamstring injury so we are hopeful that Jermaine will not be out for too long.
"He has responded well to the treatment he has received so far so we are certainly more optimistic than we were after the match at Preston."
