Teenager Antonio German does not have high hopes of making the QPR starting line-up to face Derby on Tuesday night, despite his goal success on Saturday.
The young striker came off the bench to score the second goal of his career and secure a 1-1 draw against Swansea at Loftus Road.
But he is expecting boss Neil Warnock to stick with Tamas Priskin and returning Jay Simpson against the Rams.
"I'm willing to bide my time," said German. "I understand why the manager is opting for experience because that is what's needed at the moment.
"However, I'm working hard in training and, as you could see, he threw me on and I got the goal he asked for."
Warnock arrived at QPR three weeks ago, and German is impressed with the impact he has already had at the club, adding: "He's a great manager, a fantastic leader and motivator."
