Brighton full-back Jim McNulty has spoken of his wish to turn his recent loan spell at Scunthorpe into a permanent move.
The 24-year-old has returned to the Seagulls after a six-week stay at Glanford Park during which he made three appearances for Nigel Adkins' side, despite suffering an ankle injury in the 3-2 defeat at Preston on 10th April.
He is now planning to discuss his future with Brighton boss Gus Poyet - but has made no secret of his wish to return to the Iron.
The former Scotland Under-21 international told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "I would love to come back to Scunthorpe.
"I've really enjoyed my time at the club and the opportunity to play in the Championship has been great.
"The lads have been brilliant so it's a straight forward question with a straight forward answer. Yes I would like to come back here - but it is out of my hands.
"First of all it will be down to whether Scunthorpe want me back here. I will just have to see.
"Plus I've still got two years left on my contract with Brighton so I'll have to talk with the manager there too.
"I've got to train with them this week because they still have another game."
