Striker has quickly settled into life at Millwall

Millwall's on-loan striker Kevin Lisbie has admitted the chance to join the club on a permanent basis would be too good to turn down. Lisbie joined the Lions on a season-long loan and has made an instant impact at the club, notching his first goal in their 4-0 mauling of Hull City at the weekend. With his contract at Ipswich set to expire next year, and his future seemingly lying away from Portman Road, the livewire striker revealed that he has settled quickly at the Championship table-toppers. "There is a good bunch of lads here and they've made me feel very welcome since the first day I stepped through the door, so settling has been very easy," Lisbie told skysports.com. "It helped a lot that I have played with and against a number of the lads here before during my career, so it made it a lot easier and it is always good to have a few senior professionals around you as well. "I definitely wouldn't rule out moving here on a permanent basis. I've come here on a season-long loan, but hopefully I will do well and they will want to keep me on board beyond this season. "The main thing for me at the moment is to just do well for the club and get them as high as possible. Everything else will slot into place after that." The Lions stormed to the top of the table after stunning victories over Bristol City and Hull, but Lisbie insists that is merely a bonus after picking up maximum points. He added: "It doesn't really matter too much that we are top of the table at the moment, but the fact that we have collected six points so far is a massive achievement for us. "This club has just come up from League One and often newly-promoted clubs take a while to adjust to the step up, but we have really hit the ground running."
