Tykes stopper keen to keep it tight at the back

Barnsley defender Stephen Foster is hoping the Tykes can keep more clean sheets to continue their climb up the table. Following a 4-0 defeat on the opening day of the season, Barnsley have gone on a good run and currently sit 10th in the Championship. Mark Robins' men travel to Norwich at the weekend on the back of a 2-0 win over Middlesbrough, and Foster wants to keep it tight at the back at Carrow Road. He told the club's official website: "Confidence is high at the moment on the back of two good home wins and what will prove to be a very good point at Bristol (City) even if we were disappointed at the time. "We went away from home and scored three goals and have to take a lot of confidence from that into Saturday's game. "But we have to get back to keeping a clean sheet away from home. That is all-important from my point of view. "You need to be tight at the back when you are away from home." The Tykes have conceded seven goals in four league matches so far this term, but have also kept two clean sheets.
