Burnley boss Brian Laws faces an anxious wait after injuries to left-back Danny Fox and striker Martin Paterson.
The pair were casualties in Tuesday's 1-1 home draw against Doncaster, the Clarets' third successive Championship stalemate.
Fox had to be stretchered off after suffering suspected ankle ligament damage following a heavy fall in the second half, while Paterson was replaced at half-time after picking up a thigh strain just before the break.
Laws is now anxiously awaiting the verdict on the pair, who are being assessed ahead of Saturday's clash with Watford at Turf Moor.
The Burnley boss said: "We are licking our wounds because we could have picked up two bad injuries.
"Martin suffered a thigh strain. He struggled in the last five minutes before half-time and wasn't quite right, so we have to protect that.
"Danny didn't have his best game and in the end he has picked up an injury trying hard to put right his below-par performance.
"He has landed on his ankle and it didn't look too clever. There could be ligament damage there, so we'll have to wait and see over the next couple of days."
