Iron boss Baraclough considering move into loan market
Scunthorpe United are likely to be without defender Michael Raynes for a few weeks due to a thigh injury.
Raynes was forced off towards the end of the first half of Saturday's defeat at Derby County and now faces a spell on the sidelines.
The former Stockport County centre-half has made 10 appearances in the Championship this season and manager Ian Baraclough confirmed the injury.
"He pulled his thigh muscle so may be out for a few weeks," said Baraclough.
Raynes is the latest defender to be ruled out for the Iron and Baraclough may dip into the loan market before Thursday's deadline.
He added: "A fortnight ago I had four centre-backs to choose from and they were putting each other under pressure. Now I've just got one."
