Rs midfielder determined to avoid relegation

Akos Buzsaky has expressed his desire for QPR to become an established Premier League club and to avoid relegation this season. The Rs are one of five clubs separated by just two points at the bottom of the table after recent defeats to relegation rivals Blackburn and Wolves. After being knocked out of the FA Cup, they do not play again until a home clash with Fulham on February 25 before meeting Everton at Loftus Road a week later. Buzsaky has played in just eight of QPR's 25 Premier League games this season but remains one of the longest serving players within the squad after joining in 2007. The Hungarian admits that his side will not give up their fight for survival easily and wants to avoid becoming a yo-yo club.

Big dreams

He said: "When I came here, QPR were almost bottom of the Championship. A lot of things have changed and when I came there was a big, big thing about getting to the Premier League. "There were big dreams about it and we wanted to get there within three or four years. That is what happened, we did it and we are in the Premier League. "I think QPR deserve to be here and this is a club that does not want to go up and down, go up again and go down. "We have done the hard bit and now we want to stay up and be an established Premier League side like Everton or Stoke. "We definitely have a strong enough team to stay up, but you never know in football."
