Chris Hughton has snapped up QPR defender Peter Ramage on loan until the end of the season to boost Birmingham's Premier League push.
The 28-year-old missed a big chunk of the London side's promotion drive last season battling back from a serious knee injury.
But the defender is back to his best having spent the first half of this season elsewhere in the capital playing for Crystal Palace.
The deal includes the option to extending his stay should the Blues reach the play-offs at the end of this season and he will be available to play against Derby county on Saturday.
Joining Ramage at the club until the summer is Cian Hughton, son of boss Chris, who can also operate at full-back after impressing on trial recently.
