Jackett does not expect midfielder to return to action this season

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has confirmed midfielder Therry Racon is unlikely to play any further part this season due to an ankle injury. Racon joined the Lions on a two-year contract from Charlton Athletic last summer, but has not played since suffering an ankle injury on his debut against Plymouth Argyle in the Carling Cup. Jackett was initially hoping the 27-year-old would only be sidelined for around a month, but Racon has yet to return to full fitness. He is still experiencing pain in his ankle and Jackett does not expect Racon to come back in time to feature in Millwall's bid to secure Championship survival. "Therry has got a lot of discomfort on his ankle, he is training, but it is causing him a lot of pain," he told the News Shopper. "It doesn't look at the moment as if he will play again this season." Following last weekend's 3-1 defeat at fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest, the Lions are six points outside the drop zone with 10 games left to play.
