The Hungary international has impressed at the highest level in the past, having been on the books at the Reebok Stadium since 2007.
He saw his route to the first team blocked for long periods by the experienced Jussi Jaaskelainen, but he headed for West Ham United last summer after suffering relegation with the Trotters.
Bogdan is now the undisputed number one at Bolton and insists he intends to keep things that way, despite speculation suggesting the 25-year-old could be targeted by top-flight clubs this summer.
He told www.origo.hu: "I can't see the future so I don't know what will happen to me. One thing is for sure, I am contracted to Bolton and I feel good here.
"The Championship is maybe the most exciting league in the world, where one can learn a lot, but of course it would be best to play in the Premier League.
"That would be a step forward in my career regarding my improvement."
Bogdan had hoped to make the step back up with Bolton this season, but saw them held 2-2 by Blackpool on the final day of the season to miss out on the play-offs on goal difference.
He added: "The fans were disappointed but they clapped us off and let us know that they appreciated the way we fought and what we showed on the pitch.
"The dressing room was silent and stunned afterwards because all of us were fighting to get into the play-offs, which would have given us a chance to reach promotion."
