Transfer news: Neil Adams says Norwich City are yet to accept offer for Leroy Fer

Norwich City manager Neil Adams says no suitable offer has been tabled for Leroy Fer, therefore no deal has been done.
Speculation continues to suggest that the Netherlands international will soon be on his way out of Carrow Road.
Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has admitted to holding an interest in Fer, while Southampton and Sevilla have also been heavily linked with the highly-rated midfielder.
Norwich, though, have no intention of allowing top players to leave on the cheap, even after slipping into the Sky Bet Championship.
There is no deal accepted. There is no offer accepted. He is our player and he is back training with us.
Adams is confident the club will maintain that stance as deadline day approaches and has reiterated that he hopes to have Fer at his disposal for the 2014/15 campaign.
He said in the Pink Un: “There is no deal accepted. There is no offer accepted. He is our player and he is back training with us.
“I have said many, many times I want to keep Leroy. He is coming back from the World Cup and of course there is bound to be interest in him. Ideally, you want to keep him.
“He has just had his wedding and his honeymoon and he comes back to us and he is a Norwich City player.
“I am sure there will be speculation and rumour with him, and understandably so. He is a player Premier League clubs are going to want.
“We know our best players will be in demand and if they are and the money gets to a certain level, then it’s up to the chief executive and the board to decide if it’s in the interests of the club. They are all top, top players.”
