Burnley are set to complete the signing of promising striker Daniel Agyei from AFC Wimbledon, subject to a successful medical and personal terms being agreed.
The Clarets have comfirmed they have agreed an undisclosed fee with League Two Wimbledon for the 18-year-old, who scored 35 times last season for the club’s U18 and U21 sides.
Agyei is expected to travel to Lancashire later this week to finalise the move to Turf Moor and, if all being well, will become manager Sean Dyche’s fourth signing of the summer.
Dyche has already acquired the services of Matthew Lowton, Jelle Vossen and Chris Long during the close season as he attempts to build a squad capable of securing an immediate return to the Premier League.
