Scunthorpe have completed the loan signing of Murray Wallace from Huddersfield.

The 22-year-old Scottish defender started his career at Rangers before joining Falkirk and has made 58 appearances in all competitions for the Terriers in the three years he has been there since his debut on Boxing Day 2012.

The former Scotland Under-21 international has moved to Glanford Park on an initial one-month loan and the deal sees the player reunited with Iron boss Mark Robins, who managed Wallace at Huddersfield between February 2013 and August 2014.

So far this season Wallace has made one first-team appearance as Huddersfield were beaten by Notts County in the Capital One Cup - with the Scot scoring the only Town goal in a 2-1 defeat.
