Nottingham Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi still expects to complete three more signings, despite the transfer window closing yesterday evening.

The Reds announced the signing of Brighton striker Chris O'Grady on a season-long loan but deals for Crystal Palace midfielder Jonny Williams, Lille winger Ryan Mendes and Benfica forward Nelson Oliveira have yet to be confirmed.

Williams and Mendes are both understood to have undergone medicals at the club's academy on Tuesday but gaining international clearance for the transfers of Mendes and Oliveira could prove to be a hurdle.

However, Al Hasawi appeared positive of getting the deals over the line when he took to Twitter to tell Forest fans that the paperwork had been submitted in time.

He wrote: "Although the transfer window has now closed, I can confirm 4 players have agreed to join the club and all paperwork was submitted before the 6pm deadline.

"Any deals will be announced via nottinghamforest.co.uk once officially completed."
