David Prutton returns with his predictions ahead of the midweek Sky Bet EFL matches.

But who is our resident expert tipping for victory? Read on to find out...

Derby v Leeds, Wednesday 7.45pm - Live on Sky Sports Football

Derby's recent form might be starting to concern Gary Rowett. A few weeks ago they looked hot favourites to finish second behind Wolves, but only one win in five has allowed Cardiff and Aston Villa to climb back above them.

Leeds will be feeling good after that late comeback against Bristol City, but draws aren't good enough for them if they're going to get anywhere near the top six again. Both teams have to go for this one, and I'm backing an entertaining draw.

Prutton predicts: 2-2 (16/1 with Sky Bet)

Bristol City v Fulham, Wednesday 7.45pm

Bristol City will be really disappointed with the way they've thrown away two comfortable leads in two games. If they had won both they'd be right back up in the mix for automatic promotion, but instead they're now looking over their shoulder at the pack chasing a play-off place.

Fulham are the best team in the league right now and their confidence will be sky high after beating Aston Villa on Saturday. I think their run will continue on Wednesday night at Ashton Gate.

Ipswich v Cardiff, Wednesday 7.45pm

Ipswich were so, so close to a dramatic victory in the East Anglian derby on Sunday, and they'll be so disappointed with the way they threw it away.

Cardiff are back on top form and are right in the battle for the top two. They haven't lost in the league since New Year's Day and I can't see that run ending at Portman Road. Away win.

Prutton predicts: 0-1 (5/1 with Sky Bet)

Wolves v Norwich, Wednesday 7.45pm

Wolves have been so good this season that it almost comes as a shock whenever they drop points now! A point in Preston is never a bad thing, however, and they'll be glad to be back on their own turf on Wednesday night against a team who will try to take them on at their own game.

Both sides like to get it down and play it and that should produce a good game at Molineux, but Wolves should have too much for Norwich.

Prutton predicts: 3-2 (40/1 with Sky Bet)
