Morrison has stated his desire for a move to the Premiership and Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce is still keen on signing the 23-year-old, despite both clubs failing to agree on a fee after The Blues first approached Palace about their top marksman.
With a reported asking price of £5 million for Morrison, Jordan insisted that if the Irishman is to leave the Selhurst Park outfit, he will not go cheaply.
Jordan said: "Clinton talks a lot about playing in the Premiership.
"After four or five years at the club it might be best for him to move on.
"What you have to bear in mind is that he has a valuation now that could go down if he were to have a nightmare season.
"We are in a slightly difficult position as a club and so is Clinton because he wants to play at the top level."
