Christophe Dugarry's huge impact at the Midlands club has opened the door to other French players, and Jurietti was given the chance to impress in a trial.
Jurietti, who was recommended by Dugarry, feels that he did enough, and says that everything is in place for him to complete a permanent move for next season.
"We just need to find a financial agreement between the two clubs," asserted Jurietti.
"For me, everything went very smoothly."
Birmingham are already looking to next season after consolidating their position in the top flight.
With Steve Bruce confident of keeping Dugarry at the club, The Blues are now looking where else they need to strengthen so that they can build on their first season.
The 27-year-old Jurietti is something of a fiery character and only in February was handed a lengthy ban for accosting a match official.
The defender, who has also spent time on trial at Everton in the past, was hit with an eight-match ban for the incident.
