Martyn has gone from England`s deputy to bit-part player at Elland Road in the last 12 months, due to the form of Paul Robinson.
Leeds boss Peter Reid has been pleased with Martyn`s application, but this has not stopped reports from saying he will look to move on in the summer.
Bruce is on the lookout for a new keeper, with doubts surrounding the fitness of Nico Vaesen, and media reports suggested The Blues were plotting a move for the 36-year-old.
However, Bruce has dismissed the reports, saying: "It`s a load of nonsense, absolute rubbish."
A keeper remains on Bruce`s list of priorities, but he is still keen to keep Ian Bennett at St. Andrews.
Bennett has been targeted by Ipswich Town, but Bruce is confident he will sign a two-year deal.
"Hopefully, Ian is going to sign the contract with us," added Bruce. "In fact, I am desperate for him to carry on."
