The ex-Marseille man was sent off last weekend in the defeat to Blackburn but was also caught on camera elbowing Rovers defender Craig Short which led to the hardened stopper sustaining a broken nose.
The Frenchman will be banned for his sending off in the game (for two separate bookings), but the Football Association may enforce a three-match ban for the elbowing incident if they believe there was intent on Dugarry's part.
Blues boss Bruce though has warned his former Barcelona and Milan front man to concentrate on getting Brum's impressive start to the season back on track, after the 4-0 home reverse to Graeme Souness's men on Saturday.
He said: "One thing is for certain - if he keeps the petulance that he showed on Saturday out of his game, he'll be okay.
"He's as frustrated as anyone else - that's what led to his red card.
"He hasn't reproduced the form he showed last season, so of course a player of his quality will get frustrated."
With Dugarry set to face a spell on the sidelines, Clinton Morrison and Stern John are both pressing for recalls.
